I was born and raised in Eastern Utah and Western Colorado where I currently reside.  I learned to sew on my Mother's Singer sewing machine when I was 12 years old.  I love the outdoors as well as photography and when I am not sewing, designing, or working my full time job, I am hiking, camping, and photographing the beautiful area I am blessed to live in.  I often get inspiration for my quilt designs from my outings in the wilderness and will incorporate those shapes and colors into my patterns.
